Camp Kasper
Camp Kasper stands for fun and unique summer experiences for young people with learning difficulties. Based on a simple idea and now a hugely successful model, Camp Kasper gives youngsters the opportunity to experience a summer camp that enhances their strengths whilst accommodating their difficulties.
The camps have opportunities for indoor and outdoor activities for groups and individuals with each camper allocated their "own" staff member who takes responsibility for helping them to settle in. The dedicated catering team provide varied nutritious and interesting menus allowing for all dietary requirements.
Camp Kasper allows young people to meet new friends from a different culture, improve their social skills and gain an insight into their difficulties. The families are able to benefit from respite.
Camp Kasper is registered with the Scottish Care Commission and this year was rated as "Excellent".
