Congratulations to Melanie Johnstone and Clare Osborne
who completed the Glasgow 10km on 10 May, raising sponsorship for Mindroom. Melanie (pictured below left) completed the course in 52.39 minutes, which is FANTASTIC especially as she is recovering from illness! Clare (pictured below on the right) was taking part in her first 10km and braved the rain and hailstones to make sure she finished!

A HUGE thank you to Melanie and Clare for running on our behalf and to everyone who has sponsored them. Your donations will go towards our Direct Help and Support costs for this year.
Mindroom provides support for families and professionals without charge.
Mindroom has come a long way in a very short time. In 2008, we commissioned a survey, with support from the Royal Mail. A questionnaire was sent to all 30,000 schools in the UK. The feedback from this, to be launched in November 2008, provides evidence of the need for the services of Mindroom, and of course we are driven by our clear and concise 2020 vision. But a vision is no good without friends who support it.
For 2009, we need to raise almost £50,000 to provide our services. The diagrams below show where donations come from and how your donation will make a difference.

We have also been hugely grateful for the support in kind we receive. You would not be looking at this website without the support of Graphic Partners and greenparka who have developed our logo and provided design advice and materials, developed and maintained our website, all completely free of charge since we were founded in 2001. Thank you so much!
In addition other kind supporters have provided guidance, advice, professional help and economical support. Volunteers have held jumble sales, fairs, wine tastings, run marathons and half marathons, taken part in car rallies, bikes rides and jumped out of airplanes...just to support Mindroom. Thank you all so much!
Thank you to the Inveresk Sewing Group, your donation will ensure that Mindroom Direct Help and Support will be able to help children and families for more than 6 weeks!
