Every so often, there are events that really catch our attention. Next month there are two! First up is the Mind the Gap seminar on 4 June in Gothenburg, which is looking at 'Behaviour and cognitive problems in childhood epilepsy'. It’s followed on 12-13 June in Edinburgh by a two-day autism conference entitled ‘Changing the Course of Autism: the Science and Intervention’.
The Mind the Gap seminar is being arranged by The Gillberg Neuropsychiatry Centre. Speakers include Professor Brian Neville and Professor Christopher Gillberg.
Changing the Course of Autism is a two-day conference that will look at current scientific understanding of autism, with a particular emphasis on what Harvard’s renowned Dr Martha Herbert (who will be speaking) calls 'dynamic encephalopathy'
