At The Salvesen Mindroom Centre, we respond to individual enquiries and provide immediate support and information.
But that's not all. We also offer a range of services and resources for professionals, groups and organisations, as well as working to raise public awareness and keep learning difficulties high on the political agenda.
We deliver a range of presentations, covering everything from pre-diagnosis to classroom strategies and staff training and support, to local parent and carer groups, specialist and mainstream schools, commercial and voluntary organisations, health workers, professionals… Anyone who asks.
We provide staff training for personnel supporting people with learning difficulties at school, in institutions and in the work place.
We are pleased to attend meetings held by community organisations, school support groups and parent groups to raise awareness about learning difficulties, The Salvesen Mindroom Centre and the services we offer.
