Mindroom on Reporting Scotland

We’re proud to share this feature from BBC Reporting Scotland, where Mindroom and our CEO Alan Thornburrow appeared to highlight the urgent challenges facing neurodivergent children in Scotland.

In this report, we follow Rosie’s story — a young person supported by Mindroom — as she navigates anxiety, delayed diagnosis, and the long road to accessing the help she needs. Despite official mental health targets being met, thousands of children remain on hidden waiting lists for autism and ADHD assessments, often waiting years for support.

This video shines a light on the real impact of those delays and the importance of transparency, early diagnosis, and sustained support for neurodivergent young people and their families.
