Possibly the best Burns Supper in the world

Mindroom’s flagship Burns Supper is now a showcase for the best of Scotland.

Please read about the inaugural 'Possibly the best Burns Supper in the world' at Edinburgh’s Prestonfield House on 31 January 2014.

The array of stars included Chair Professor David Purdie, whose Immortal Memory was a tour de force. Fred Macaulay toasted the lassies in a most gentlemanly and gallant manner, and Johann Lamont's reply was fabulously feisty and full of great natural wit.

Songs were provided by Henry Douglas and Morgan Carberry, with poetry by David Campbell, John Tullie and John Frame.

It was a wonderful occasion in a truly splendid setting and one which we hope to repeat. The event also raised £20,000 to help us in our work.
